Reviews for Italian Cucina
Review highlights
Based on 245 reviewsItalian Cucina in New Hope is widely praised for its authentic, scratch-made Italian dishes, particularly homemade pastas and inventive, fresh flavors that distinguish it from other local eateries. Guests consistently highlight the exceptional quality of the food, with standout items like the pork chop with mushroom sauce receiving special mention. The intimate and cozy atmosphere, paired with attentive and friendly service from the staff, enhances the overall dining experience. While the menu may be limited at times due to supply constraints, this has not detracted from the positive reception. Some practical notes include the need for street parking and limited seating due to the restaurant’s small size, but these are generally seen as minor inconveniences in an otherwise excellent establishment.
Sam and Colleen were terrific hosts. We didn't have a reservation, but we were seated immediately at the bar (which had a great viee into all the action in the kitchen). Scratch cooking at it's finest with homemade pastas, desserts, great service. Limited menu due to pandemic supply didn't make for a bad experience. We'd be back again.
****UPDATE**** Amazing...as always We had the best weekend The food is incredible , such as creative dishes Food is fresh and authentic This place blows the rest of these local restaurants out of the water Go in and try some appetizers You will stay for dinner Sam, the chef along with Colleen and Joanna, which makes this place rock . The food is top-notch. This is the real deal . Make sure to make your reservations in advance. Everything is homemade and made to order. No detail is left unnoticed from the atmosphere to the serving ware. They will make you feel as if you were family! We were lucky to go back 2 nights in a row for the pork chops and bollinese and scallops..try the shrimp on fire ...OMG !! Good job guys you are now our favorite restaurant
Excellent food. Very smooth tasting appetizer. But the pork chop with a mushroom sauce was a real showstopper for me. I am not sure what is in that souce, but it tasted very different from what I expected - in the good and exciting way. Really, hats off to the Chef!
My husband and I live in the area and have been to almost every restaurant. This one is one of the best. The food, service and space were all spectacular! We cannot wait to go back.
Got an invite from my sister and her husband to have dinner at a new Italian restaurant in New Hope and jumped at it. Cucina is just a few blocks from the river right by the train station. There is no parking lot, so street parking only. (DO NOT PARK IN THE TRAIN STATION 26 TO START AND IT GOES UP FROM THERE). The restaurant is a little on the small size so there are limited tables but comfortable nonetheless. The menu has a nice variety of food, their salads were amazing! The apps and entrees we had were all equally delicious, the restaurant is BYOB and the price is reasonable for the area and food you get.
Everything was perfect! The food was delicious and the service was perfect. I don’t remember the name of the waitress, but she was very professional and very friendly. She explained all perfectly and her personality was very sweet.
Best pork chop i’ve ever had. All the food was delicious
Amazing food, nice romantic ambiance. Scallops are ridiculously good, and the lobster ravioli (pictured here). Chef comes out to each table to chat, which was nice since there were some great subtleties and flavors that we enjoyed discussing with him. Very warm, friendly family establishment. Also, salad was delicious and HUGE for sharing. Big plus for veggie fans like us
